Aqualyx is a revolutionary, non-surgical product designed to dissolve localised fat. This treatment is perfect for areas that are holding stubborn fat, the type of fat that isn’t responding to weight loss or exercise. By injecting Aqualyx ( made from Deoxycholic Acid) we can liquify fat cells so they simply flush out through our bodies via our lymphatic drainage system.
Aqualyx is the leading fat dissolve product on the market and has some excellent results. However, it is worth knowing that this treatment should not be seen as a quick fix, and is only successful when used on stubborn fat. It is not a weight loss injection.
Results can be seen after just 1 treatment and are usually visible after 3-4 weeks. In a lot of cases where there is larger and more stubborn fat pockets such as belly and thighs you may need to have a series of sessions with 4 week intervals. The side effects include swelling, in a lot of cases swelling can be quite severe for the first 48 hours as the fat cells expand before they liquify. It is recommended that you do not plan any social events for 1 week after in case you experience swelling. Like any injectable treatment the risk of bruising is also possible. Clients are advised to rest following their treatment and to drink plenty of water.

Things to know:
- You must be prepared for swelling.
- You must be prepared for soreness I the area for two weeks and in some cases up to 4 weeks.
- This is an excellent treatment when done sensibly and gradually. Do not expect overnight results.
- For best results you must follow a healthy diet and drink PLENTY of water after your treatment.
- You may need extra sessions after 4 weeks. If this is the case, each extra session needed will be discounted.
